an Error  initializing register data:

there was an error creating the flat register XML file from the device file:

C:\CCStudio_v3.3\driver\TargetDB\devices\c6748.xml

    If you look in the C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\TargetDB\devices directory is there a c6748.xml file present.  If that file is missing that can cause the error you see to occur.  Did you purchase a C6748 development kit?  If so check to see if there was a CD in the kit that contains support files for C6748.

    I think we had the development kit you mentioned.

    we used c6748 & GC5330 together.


    After i install the CCS3.3 and some other plus，then imported c6748_xds560.ccs.

    the error came out.

    then i copyed the c6748_xds560.ccs from my colleague‘s computer，

    however,the error still was there.

    Hi Liang,

    I do not believe that the c6748 files come with CCS by default. Most likely you need to install them separately from the CD that came with the kit or download it from Logic PD's website.

    later we used the c6747.ccs, and it works well from then on.
