CCS: CCS Resource Explorer offline mode cant connect

I just installed CCS and I need to download a sdk to work on a project but whenever I try to connect to resource explorer it can't go online. I've tried the troubleshooting steps, the proxy change and folder delete but neither have worked. I am on version 8.1 on ubuntu 18.04.

Futhermore, I tried installing the sdk by itself with the .run file I downloaded. I ran it and the files seemed to have generated but alas CCS didnt' find them, even after adding them in the resource explorer classic. I couldn't build a project that required the sdk I needed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We are having an issue with our server. The cloud team is looking into it.

If you have the SDK you need installed you can try going to the project menu in CCS and selecting "Import CCS Projects". You can then browse to where the SDK was installed and import the projects that way. I would suggest browsing through the directory structure first and figuring out roughly where the project you are interested in is located. The reason I suggest that is that there are a lot of projects in the SDK and the import dialog will show you a list based on the directory you select that has everything below that point. Thus you likely want to trim the list down a bit.
