With demo CCS4 FET430UIF on MSP430FG4619 always worked fine, but after installing full CCS4-micro, debugger stopped working. Nothing wrong with FET430UIF and the target, I can still use a standing along third party software to program the chip. Creating fresh project did not help. Older MSP430F123 works fine.

Try deleting your target cahce files as described here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCS#Debugger

What specific version of CCSv4 are you using? We would recommend updating to the latest version which can either be installed as a full download from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS, or can be updated from your exisiting CCS4 by going to Help->Software Updates->Find and Install.

Installing brand new CCSv4 fixed the problem.
