Hello,

I need to install C2000 Code Composer Studio v3.3 in my Win 7 PC with 64 bit. but when i try to install the installation is unsuccessfull with "Error Code 1722 There is a problem with this Windows installer package "

I went through other solutions provided in the forum to uncheck BIOS while installing the problem seems to still exist.

Please help me out to identify how can i install this tool to my laptop.

Hello!

There were reports of successful use of CCSv33 on Win7, and I used to do that too, but to my experience the most painless way of having that legacy tool working properly is to install it in virtual machine with Windows XP.

Thank you, but can you please explain me the process they followed to use CCSv3.3 on Win7 will have to give priority for that as Win Xp is no longer supported by MS . so its a mandatory to use Win 7.

Nothing special, install as administrator, literally, with your setup.exe right-click, run as admin, apply compatibility settings as "WinXP+Run as Admin" to both CCS and CCS Configuration tool.
But you'd better reconsider VM. Having obsolete OS in the sandbox might be good enough to not worry about support issues.
