It looks like there have been a handful of threads along this line and issues with ldd are at the heart of the problem. I have CCSv8 installed successfully, but I am trying to install CCSv7.2 in addition so that I can support an older code base that's still active for one of our products.
I had an Ubuntu 16.04 that just went away, and my new machine got a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04 yesterday. CCSv7.2 install hangs on installing the linux debugserver.
Is there any patch for this? I REALLY don't want to build a 16.04 VM just to run an old version of CCS.
