CCS/MSP-FET: Cannot update firmware.

I'm trying to update the firmware of a MSP-FETFlash debugger, but the full operation cannot be done since a window pops out every time I try:

I've tried to do it on different OS (MacOS X High Sierra, Windows 10), using several tools (CCS 7, CCS 8, CCS Cloud, MSP Flasher - all last version) but without success. Both lights are blinking during the process but when it seems that is finishing, the warning message above pops out. Last time I used it and it worked was several months ago with CCS 6. How can I force the update and make it working again?

Hello Paul,

A few questions about this issue we want to understand:

Does OSX and Windows 10 both running on a MAC machine?

What kind of MAC machine are you using?

What type of USB are you using? A or C?

Is this USB3.0 or USB2.0?

Can the USB ports switch to native USB2.0?

Hi Yiding,

The tests were performed on different machines: Macbook Pro 8,1 (13-inch, early 2011) for OSX and HP EliteBook 840 G4 for Windows 10. The first one has USB 2.0 ports and the second one has USB 3.1 ports. Please let me know if you need further details.

Yes, I still have the problem. Can you tell me if can I return it back or change it for another one? The device has less than one year so I suppose it is still in warranty. If that is the case, which department should I contact?
