Last week I updated some of my laboratory - PCs successfully from CCS4.1.3.00038 to version 4.2, using Help => Software Updates => FInd and Install. Now I tried the same with some other PCs - and it does not work any more. The update search results window does not show an update to CCS4.2 any more.

Yes we had a "non-product" issue with 4.2. The full images were pulled and replaced with an updated one with no functional difference however we are still waiting on some results before the patch goes back up. Should be up today. The patch you installed before is fine there is nothing wrong with it from a functional standpoint.

John is it possible to roll back if the update completed...or does the "non-product" fail to roll back successfully?
I suspect the later.
In roll back from the non-product 4.2 fails what is your recommended course of action?

The issue that was in the original 4.2.0 does not require customers to roll back the install.
If there is some other reason that you need to roll back the only way to do it is to make another installation of CCS.
