  • Hello,

    I cannot understand your issue.

    What is your OS?
Do you have 8.1 already installed?
Does it fail during 8.1 or 8.2 installation?
Do you run upgrade or do you try to have 8.1 and 8.2 in parallel?
Please, search e2e for 8.2 installation issues.
  • hello
    thank you for your reply!

    My OS is win10;
    I have quit installing CCS8.1
I met the same problem when I tried to install CCS 8.2
it always stopped at the same spot:

    Running post install steps
    Registering new target content products

please tell me how to solve it
  • Install using offline installer with an admin privilege.
Before you start installation disconnect your network interfaces.
Install 8.1 in c:\ti\ccs810 and 8.2 in c:\ti\ccs820 or something like this.
Always use separate workspaces for the different CCS versions.
  • Please zip up and post the contents of your install_logs folder in the installation directory.

    Thanks,

    Danish

The log file does not tell us why the installation was stuck. However, since that step is almost at the end of the install, only some cleanups etc. are run at the time, so the installation itself should be fine. It sounds like you have been able to launch and use CCS, so we will close out this thread. Feel free to open a new thread if you encounter issues in the future.
