CCS/TMS570LS3137: Erase Option - Necessary Sectors Only not working

CCS Version: 8.2.0.00007

I've set the Target Configuration -> Properties -> Flash Settings -> Erase Options to "Necessary Sectors Only (for Program Load)". However, CCS still erases all flash on every program load even though my program is quite small. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Hugh,

I tried to reproduce this with my TMS570LS3137 Development Kit, using CCSv8.2.0.00007, but the option works for me (it does not delete the whole flash). What are you doing where you see this behavior? Do you have multiple different programs loaded in flash in different sectors but see them always get erased when loading a program? A reproducible test case would be helpful (just need the executables).

It seems that my problem was caused by confusion over which debug configuration I was actually running. I think I've got it straightened out now.
