CCS: Updated to CCS8.2.0.00007 with C2000 Device Support still has a low version number

Hi expert,

For new FLASH process in C2000 devices, we need to updated CCS version along with software like "C2000 device support".

When my customer updated to CCS V8.2 the C2000 device support is not updated to the desired version 4.2.5.0. Does this mean we should update this manually?

What is your recommended way of update?

    Sheldon,

    CCSv8.2 ships with the 4.2.4 version of the C2000 device support package.  The C2000 team has released a newer 4.2.5.  If you check for updates in CCS by going to the Help menu and select "Check for updates" it will find the 4.2.5 version and allow you to install it.
