CCS/MSP430FR4133: Cannot Install Code Composer Studio v8 on mac os high sierra

Hello

I have problem in running CCS v8 after downloading it from official website. I got the following message from my mac:

The application “ccs_setup_8.2.0.00007.app” can’t be opened.

Does anybody know what is the problem????

Mohammad,

I am not having any issues with downloading and running the installer on High Sierra.

When I run the installer I get this prompt and I just select Open.

Could you have security settings blocking running applications downloaded from the internet? i.e. could the setting "Allows apps downloaded from" be "App Store" on your Mac.

I have found some issues online where the executable permissions are getting lost on downloaded applications. I have some instructions at the end of this thread that you could use to fix that.
