CCS/EK-TM4C123GXL: "Selected text cannot be mapped to a symbol name"

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm unable to navigate between the functions using ctrl+click getting an error "Selected text cannot be mapped to a symbol name"

Tried with Indexer -> rebuild, clean and build, deleted files in .metadata folder nothing worked out.

No problem in building the project but cannot navigate inside the project.

I'm using ccsv8, programming using c/c++ combined.

Any help is much appreciated.

Are you using CCS 8.2.0? There is a known issue with the indexer in CCSv8.2 and C++ code. It sounds like you are running into that issue. We plan to address it in CCSv8.3.
