Download the CCS updates

Hi,

I have currently two machines with CCS installed, one without permanent LAN access. The two installations are identical, using the same tools etc. Is there a way to download the update packages in order to save bandwidth and make updates of offline machines easier, I would really appreciate this possibility!

Hi Andreas,

usually, the updates were available as a .zip-file some time after a new full-release download.

On the download page if you go to the release archive section for the newer releases there is a link called patch. This is a zip of the update site for that update

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS#CCSv4_Release_Archive

Unzip it and then go to help->software updates->Find and install. Select search for new features. Create a new local update site and point to that location.
