I'm using Blackhawk CCSv4 Emulation 4.2.0.6. I can not find any newer update

Which version of CCS did you update from? I assume you able to set hardware breakpoints in that version, correct?

I downloaded the version from TI's homepage CCS4.2.0.10018. The version I worked with before stopped working(CCS4.1.3.38). Every time I launched the debugger the CCS crashed, so I unistalled that version and downloaded the CCS 4.2.0018 and installed it.

I imagine you are still using the previous workspace, is that so? Can you perform the steps 2 and 3 of the section General IDE (link below) and see if the issue goes away?

I've had similar issues before where the debugger showed a strange behaviour due to inconsistencies in the workspace and debug information inherited from previous releases.

Also, sometimes inconsistent cache information can cause trouble. Check steps 2 and 3 of the section Debugger of the page sent above.

At last, I would verify if the target can be connected without the IDE. Check step 1 of the section Debugger of the page sent above.

No I'm not using the old workspace. I created a new one after I installed the new version of CCS. I will try the  steps from the link above, but I don't think there can be old cache information from a previus version of CCS that I uninstalled before I installed the new version?

I am looking into this.  My first thought is that CCS 4.2.0.10018 was not updated to our v4.2.0.7 installer before it was released and v4.2.0.7 has the updated USB2000 files you need. 

If so, I will post an update.  This will be v4.2.0.8, which will include v4.2.0.7 changes and additional updates.

Hi,

It works fine now. But when I build my projec t I get this warning "This project was created using a version of XDCtools that is not currently installed: 3.16.02.32. Please install the XDCtools of this version, or migrate the project to one of the supported versions." How do I migrate the project?
