Is there a "speed limit" for the CCS Terminal Window?

Using the ControlCard for the F280049 and routing SCI thru the pins so that I can use USB-Jtag-UART connection, I am able to get to 230400 BAUD.

I might be able to go further, but is there a "hardware limit" to the speed?

I plan to use the USB-UART for debug output, as an alternative to printf.

Todd,

The highest baud rate that I have been able to select in the Terminal plug-in is 115200. If you are going to use 230400 you will have to use PuTTy, TeraTerm or something similar. The only reference I could find with someone going beyond 115200 they had created their own version of the RxTx component that enables serial connection in the Terminal Plugin.
