Hello every body.

I have a am5728-evm board and I do not have JTAG yet.

I write some codes and program by C language and I want to compile and simulate on DSP.

How can simulate my codes with Code Composer Studio for my board?

am5728-evm have two core DSP (C6000)

Hello!
Since CCS v6 there is no simulators provided. However, even if you stick with CCS v5, your device seems to have no simulator support anyway: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../List_of_Simulator

Hi,

rrlagic is correct; you will have to get a XDS Debug Probe for your EVM board as no software simulators are available.

Although the low cost TMDSEMU110-U has good performance for the Cortex cores (A15, M4), the TMDSEMU200-U also adds better performance for the DSP cores of the AM5728 device.
