CCS/TM4C123GH6PGE: Problem with installing code composer studio

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello sir,

I am installing code composer studio v8 in my new laptap.I installed ccs v8 and executed my code with installing tiva tm4c driver library.After successful installation, i opened my code and i am getting errors like below screen shot.

I request you to please find the below screen shot errors and kindly please suggest me how resolve the errors (i.e is there any supporting file missed?).

I see the path "C:\Users\R" in your build console.

My username of laptop is cyber.
It's showing C:\Users\R is un expected error

> echo %USERPROFILE%

What is the output?

Your user name is:

R&D#Software

I.e. contains the non-alphanumeric characters "&" and "#". As explained in [FAQ] CCS: Why do I need to avoid non-alphanumeric (unicode) characters in my paths? paths with non-alphanumeric characters can potentially cause various project management and build issues.

The "&" in the user name is causing build issues, and even causes the echo %USERPROFILE% in the command prompt to report an error since it tries to execute the text "D#Software" as a command.

Therefore try either:

a. When starting CCS select a workspace directory outside of your C:\Users\R&D#Software directory, such that the path only contains alphanumeric or "_" characters.

b. Use CCS when logged in with a user name which only contains contains alphanumeric or "_" characters.
