Hi, As surprisingly CCS disappeared from my laptop, I am trying to reinstall Code Composer Studio v 8.2.0.00007 with administrative privileges and disabling Windows Defender on my Windows 10 laptop but unsuccessful as the installation is terminating with the following error.

GNU wget cannot handle paths containing spaces like in your login name.
Download an offline installer, temporary disable network interfaces, turn off Windows Defender
and install CCS with an admin privilege.

During installation select an installation folder to be c:\ti\ccs820\ or similar.
It will let you install any other CCS versions you might need.

Never use any workspace instance with the different CSS versions.

Tom, The WiFi Interface was disabled for sure. I am not sure about the space in user name is causing this problem as I was installed and used CCS before on the same laptop with the same user name.

The issue you see appears to happen mostly with CCSv8.2 for users with a space in the user name. As a workaround, some people rolled back to CCSv8.1. Otherwise I suggest try using the offline installer and create another user account without a space in it. One customer suggested setting your temp/tmp folder to a path without spaces (it defaults to a folder inside your user folder):
e2e.ti.com/.../2745775

Note that this issue will be fixed in the upcoming CCSv8.3 release at the end of the month
