Hello,

i got the FDC2214 EVM and want to program it with the Code Composer Studio, because there is also a MSP430F5528. Is it possible to program it with CCS, because if i try to start debugging, the computer keeps on saying "Error Initializing: No USB FET was found." I tried several USB-Ports but it didnt solve the problem.

Does the FDC communicate to the MSP by I2C?

Hello.
MSP430F5528 on your board does not have external JTAG interface connectors so you cannot program it.

Your EVM is not designed in a way to allow MSP430F5528 debugging.
Check your EVM manual section: Firmware upgrade or similar.

Hi Tomasz - I also would like to program the FDC2214EVM to make a minor change to it's source code (change usb hardware id, so my system will recognize multiple evm's attached to my computer consistently). According the the user guide, there is a firmware upgrade process.

Is the source code available for download, or can you send it to me?

Geoff,

I would ask this question on the Sensors forum, as the experts there would be much more knowledgeable about the FDC2214 firmware and you don't risk having your replies missed.
