CCS3.3 setup problem

I installed CCS 3.3 on my PC (Win 7 32 bit). And successfully setup the target board.

When I launch from Code Composer Studio v3.3 icon, I always get " Error Reading Code Composer Setup information. Code Composer may not have been correctly installed".

If I launch from Setup CCStudio v3.3 icon, close it and start Code Composer Studio from there, everything works fine.

I reinstalled CCS 3.3 many times, still has the same problem.

It happens for both XDS510PP emulator and on board USB emulator (my target board is OMAPL138 eXperimenter Kit).

I can work on my project, however, it is better if this problem can be solved.

Hi Lu,

CCSv3 is not supported on Windows 7. However, people have gotten it to work. But there are a few things to look out for. A lot of them are similar to issues on Vista. Take a look at this topic for more information: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Vista_with_CCS#CCSv3

Thanks. CCSv3 can work on Win 7. This problem just bother me instead of forbid me working on my project.

It seems this problem can not be solve currently.

Is CCSv4 fully supported on Win 7?

Hello,

I use Experimenter’s Kits (TMDSDOCK28335) with controlCARD "Delfino" F28335.

I want to use ccs v3.3 with MATLAB / Simulink 2010a (and also using 2011a I have the same problem) to deploy my real time application. But when I build the Demos-simulink model for F28335, I always get the following error message:

The call to idelink_ert_make_rtw_hook, during the exit hook generated the following error:

Error while loading and running the project.

The build process will terminate as a result.

and when I typed at the MATLAB prompt

ccsboardinfo

I got the following error: ???

Error map is empty.

Error in ==> ccsboardinfo at 68 ccssetup.Connect(); % Connect to CCS Setup

I reinstalled Matlab and ccs v3.3 many times but the problem still.

How can I solve this Problem??
