CCS/AM5726: Jump to function definition / declaration not working

Hello,

I am working with CCS version 7.4.0. and have a few projects inside the project explorer. After switching from one project to another I experience that conditional compiled code is not grayed out and it is also not possible to jump to a function declaration/definition when pressing CTRL + left mouse click.

How can I restore the expected behavior?

Hello Andreas,
The first thing I recommend is to rebuild the Index cache:
software-dl.ti.com/.../ccs_project-management.html

If that does not help, please provide a small test case that works for you.

Hello Ki,

Rebuilding the indexer works for me. I will further check if this will continue to work but for now I think I have a solution.

Good to hear it is working now. The cache often gets corrupted (especially for large projects), hence it is a good idea to rebuild it periodically.
