In our current program, running on TMS320F28335, we are using the special low-usage Assembly instructions like __f32_max_idx, as described in "TMS320C28x Optimizing C/C++ Compiler". For the next product, we are going to switch to TMS320F28377S, and the code that uses these instructions will run in the CLA. Are there compatible low-usage CLA instructions? If yes, is there a document that sums up techniques of optimizing the CLA code?
