CCS/C2000WARE: Downloading/Installing is taking a long long time

I've been trying to download/install CCS.  It has been downloading/installing for at least 6 hours.  Here is my screenshot:

Why is this taking so long to download/install?

    Eric,

    The screen capture did not come through. Since you mentioned download/install I am guessing the you are trying the online installer. If that is taking a long time it is likely that security software on your machine is causing issues with the downloads that happen during the install.

    I would suggest trying the offline installer. You can get the offline installers here:
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS

    If you are seeing this with the offline installer please let me know.

    John,

    Thanks for the reply.  Your response did resolve the problem. I tried the offline installer and it worked great.  The online installation problem that I was experiencing must be related to McAfee security software (which I can't seem to disable because my subscription has expired).

    Eric
