Hi team,

Customers' computer OS is 32bit Win XP. They want to download the code to CC2640R2F using our tools, Flash Programmer 2 and uniflash.

Do Flash Programmer 2 and uniflash support in Win XP? If not, do we have any suggestions?

Eggsy,

Our last tools releases to officially support Window XP were in 2016. Microsoft ended support for Windows XP in 2014.

It is quite possible that UniFlash will work on Windows XP for your customer but this is not something that we verify or test.

UniFlash 3.4 would have been tested on Windows XP. However that tool does not support CC2640R2.

Current versions of UniFlash may work on Windows XP but as it is an untested, unsupported platform we do not guarantee this.

I saw you send the link "dev.ti.com/.../" is online download.
Does it support online download on windows XP computer?
As you said, "Current versions of UniFlash may work on Windows XP ", the current versions is mean Uniflash v4.5.0?

The online tool requires a small agent to be downloaded onto your PC. That agent is not validated on Windows XP. The last version to be validated on Windows XP was UniFlash 3.4.

Versions later tha 3.4 may run on Windows XP but we do not guarantee this.
