I have recently replaced my XDS100v2 debugger with a XDS110 debugger which states it supports all C64X devices yet when setting up target configuration no device support for the C6416 processor is available only 6421 onwards. this is in CCSv8 it states that more device support is avalible in the update manager but i cannot find where to download/enable the extra devices

    Please apoogize for the error on the TMDSEMU110-U page. This Debug Probe does not support the C64x family of devices, only C64x+.

    In this case, where did you purchase this Debug Probe? You can ask for a refund.

    Regarding your options to replace the XDS100v2, the next cheapest one is the XDS560v2 STM USB (TMDSEMU560V2STM-U) followed by the Spectrum Digital XDS510USB or XDS510USB Plus (not sold by TI).
