CCS/MSP430FR5994: How to get code examples without being connected to "the cloud"

Dear Forum,

I'm running CCSv7 inside an organization so it's difficult to get the latest version. In the meantime, CCS Resource Explorer says I'm not connected to the cloud so it cannot download example source code.

Is there a workaround?

Scott,

Many details can prevent a successful connection of the TI Resource Explorer, especially when your host is behind a corporate proxy or a firewall. A few tips are provided in the link below, but unfortunately the wide variety of configurations prevents it to be a comprehensive guide.

However, if you are able to download and install software in your host, you can manually download MSP430Ware, install and use it normally.
