CCS/CC2640R2F: Proxy Problem and Com port/ driver connection

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I can not upload code or communicate with my TI cc2640R2 Launchpad on my work computer.  It appears to be a proxy security setting but my IT department wants more info from TI.  These are some of the error messages I've accumulated.

Also, when I plug the launchpad into my computer it does not appear as a com port and I am not sure why.  I downloaded CCS.

  • Hello,

Assuming you have a proxy server on your network, you can try to manually override the default proxy settings to use one explicitly defined in the proxy.js file to see if this helps.

Are you able to start a debug session and connect to the launchpad via CCS?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I have found an alternate way to upload the project zero to the launchpad.  I download it from ti explorer online and then manually place the file in my workspace and upload the code this way.  I also got the com port working too randomly.

    Thanks,
