Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138
Hi,
I am annoyed by the CCS 4 crashing on me as soon as either I click "Debug active project" or when I right click on a target config file and click "Launch Selected Configuration".
I have tried using the XDS100v1, the XDS510 USB and the TI Cycle Accurate Simulator but all result in CCS 4 crashing and showing me the prompt (attached).
Earlier when this used to happen I used to do the following "hack" and it worked:
1. Disconnect the XDS100v1
2. Delete Target config files
3. Create a new Target config file with TI Cycle Accurate Simulator
4. Launch the configuration
5. Terminate the session
6. Connect XDS100v1
7. Change target config file to use XDS100
8. Launch again and proceed.
Now, it crashes at step 4 above.
I just acquired XDS510, and I have not got it to work because CCS 4 keeps crashing.
This is greatly impeding my ability to proceed with development. Please advise.
I enabled TI_TRACE_LOG to 6 in environment variables, but I do not see any log files.
