Compiler/AM3359: "Automatically indent" cannot be customized

Part Number: AM3359

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

The feature "Automatically indent" can conventionally help user.

However, when it comes to my case(on the left side, line 97), it becomes kind of trivial.

I don't want to indent when 96 to 97, but indent in other cases. Can CCS support this? Thanks.

  • Andy,

    I don't see any way to control that specific behaviour. I was hoping that there was a code formatter option for that was it has control over things like how initializer lists are indented.

    If you want to play around with the formatter its options are available in the preferences dialog. You will need to click show advanced settings at the bottom and then go here:

    Then click the edit button at the top right.  From there you can adjust the formatter settings.

    Regards,

    John
