Compiler/TMS320F280041: --cla_support=cla2 option

Hello,

I am developing a new application based on F280041.

Standing at the "F28004x Firmware Development Package User Guide", I must specify the --cla_option=cla2 option, among the processor options in CCS.

However, standing at the datasheet sprs945c, it seems that F280041 doesn't have a CLA, as you can see from the table reported below.

What should I do?

Hi,

You can
1) not use the compiler flag
2) in the project properties select the blank option
3) or leave it as it is. If you aren't using the CLA it won't effect your code.

Thank you Sal,
I don't use CLA, so that option doesn't affect my code.

But is it right that F280041 doesn't have a CLA?

that is correct. Only the F280049 versions include CLA.
