CCS/MSP-EXP430G2ET: Browser extension is blocked by Safari

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

First time set up of the dev board on Mac OS 10.14.3 with Safari 12.0.3.  I can download the browser extension but it won't install as Apple has blocked 'unsafe' extensions:

Is there a workaround/alternative?

    I am a Mac user as well. I find that I have to use Chrome. The current browser extension for Safari was built using a model that Apple has stopped supporting.

    Yep, I managed to get it launced with Chrome too in the end. However, I can't get it to actually load to the Launchpad without getting an error. On the downloaded, standalone version of CCS it will load though. I have a seperate question for that if you have any thoughts!? Thanks for the input John.
