CCS/DRV8312-69M-KIT: Unable to RUN GUI for sensored BLDC project

Dear Sir/Madam

I had DRV8312-69M kit with BLDC motor, I installed CCSv8 and also latest versions of controlsuit and motorware. I took project from controlsuit C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v128\BLDC_Sensored make changes in configuration and build it successfully and I run C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v128\~GUI, In this GUI target is detected but DC bus voltage is not getting detected(shows yellow light) so im not able to enable the motor. I made all hardware setting as per mentioned in the document.

Is this is correct way to run DRV8312-69M kit GUI???

Please suggest if anything wrong in the procedure or if something else has to be done.

    Please check what controlCard are you using? F28069, or F28069M? If you are using F28069M controlCard that has an InstaSPIN tags, the controlCard can't support the project and GUI in controlSUITE, it only supports the project and GUI in motorWare.

    Control card is TMDSCNCD28069MISO(F28069M ), Please inform how to run GUI in motorWare for sensored and sensorless BLDC projects.

    Please download motorWare as the below link, and then follow the GUI guide to do some operation step by step.
    www.ti.com/.../motorware

    GUI guide is in below folder if installed by default.
    C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\docs\guis

    Btw, motorWare just supports sensorless or sensored FOC with encoder, not support hall sensor and trapezoidal control.

    Hi,
    I cleared about motorware, but I have 2 more questions
    1) How to run sensored and sensorless BLDC project for hall sensor and trapezoidal control, means GUI.
    2) In motorware projects are named as proj_lab06c, Im not getting the name convention used.

    Please inform how to run hall sensored GUI project for BLDC.

    As replied to you, the examples project in controlSUITE don't support F28069M controlCard.

    You need to change some memory assignment for IQmath in the .cmd file as below if you still want to use F28069M controlCard and the GUI in controlSUITE for BLDC, and then follow the GUI guide to run it step by step.
