CCS/TMS320C6203B: Look for old BIOS and Code Generation tools (circa 2005)

Hi, we have client that we need to support and prior to making any changes, we have to prove that we can reproduce the existing binaries to do a Binary Comparison between what we generate and what was delivered back then (circa 2005).

Code Composer Studio v2 was used, which I hope we can use with in v3.3 (already have this version 3.3.80.20 Platinum) but my biggest concern is the BIOS and Code Gen Tool.

I'm looking for:

BIOS 4.80.00.5
Code Generation Tools 4.32 (not too sure for this version)

What I need is the installer for these components. Any help is appreciated.

Louis,

We will dig up the compiler and BIOS release. Were you doing your build in CCS or via makefile? Switching BIOS and compiler releases back in CCSv3.x was possible but not the most simple exercise.

For this one through CCS. I'm familiar with setting and switching BIOS, Code Gen with CCS3.3. We are using to support another series of TI DSP 6412 and 5502 where are using a different mix of BIOS versions.

Does the client still have the CCS v2 installed? BIOS was shipped in that (I'm pretty sure at least).

Hi Todd,

Unfortunately, no. We would need to have the Installer for CCS v2.

The other option would be to have the BIOS and Code Gen Tool installer if they work with CCS v3.

I will send you a friend request. I can send you a private message with a link to a CCSv2 installer. Do you happen to know which version of CCSv2 you were using? 2.00, 2.10, 2.12, 2.20, 2.21, 2.30, 2.40?
