CCS/CC1352P: H/W breakpoint diabled

Hi Naveen,
Can you provide more details on your environment? If you are using on of the examples from the SDK, please mention which example and at which location you are trying to set the HW breakpoint. Also, a screenshot of when the issue occurs would be helpful

I used the same SDK version and example (though I used the one for the CC1352R1). I can set a breakpoint near that location while the target is running. I'm not sure why you can only set it when you are halted. Is there any message given when you try to set the breakpoint while running? What happens when you try to enable it in the Breakpoints view?

I also tried to enable the breakpoint from breakpoints View, I'm getting message - Cannot enable breakpoint when target is running or disconnected.

Can you provide a screenshot of the CCS IDE when this happens?

Can you also try deleting the launch configuration, .launch, and target cache files?

I tried deleting the launch and make file, still the issue persists, pls find attached screen shot

I have tried with a different Launchpad CC2640R2 - it works fine. the problem is with CC1352P2

What version of the TI Emulator pack are you using?

There have been some issues on 13x2 and 26x2 with TI Emulator pack 8.1.0.0000x

Yes I have TI Emulators 8.1.00007 installed, is it possible install a different version.

I would suggest installing CCSv9.0.1 instead. Note that the bug is with the debugger, not the TI Emulators pack. TI Emulators pack 8.1.0.0000x exposes a bug in the debugger which is fixed in CCSv9.0.1.

But I'm using the latest CCS v 9.0.1

So you are actually using 9.0.1? Or both 8.3.0 and 9.0.1 (and can reproduce on both)?

I cannot reproduce the issue. It works fine on both version for me. Please enable Debug Server Logging and reproduce the issue. Then zip the generated log and attach it to this thread:
software-dl.ti.com/.../ccs_diagnostic-logs.html
