Hi All,

When I came to install CCS v9 ,

After Successful installation CCS , I opened the Application. A popup opened that it shows XDC tools and TI-RTOS Tools has to be installed on CCS. I select ALL and click Install.

Installation was aborted. I saw the error logs which I could not understand [Screenshot Attached].

Kindly anyone help this to sort out.

 Thanks in advance,

Rahman

  • Hi Rahman,
Can you go into the c:\ti folder and delete the xdctools folder for 3.50.2.20 and 3.50.3.33? Then try downloading them again and have CCS detect/install them.

    Thanks
    ki
  • Thanks for the info. It is resolved.
I see many versions in xdc tools in the link downloads.ti.com/.../
Should I have to install all versions or installing the latest one is enough?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rahman

Some projects and SDK are validated with specific versions of XDCtools. In those cases, they may recommend you use those specific versions. Many SDK come with XDCtools bundled with them and they get installed when you install the SDK. Hence it is quite common to end up with multiple XDCtools versions.
