CCS/TM4C1294NCPDT: SDK migration to CCSv9 or higher

Hi,

We are in process to select which version of CCS to use for development.

Recently CCSv9 is released.

We need to develop firmware for TM4C1294NCPDT using TI-RTOS and Tivaware library.

These SDK are working with newer version of CCS with some warning messages.

I would like to know more about migration of these SDKs to newer version of CCSv9 and compilers, XDC tools, etc. is expected in upcoming days.

Please share more about this.

Considering support and smooth development using CCS, which version we should select for future development ?

Use the newest versions.

Hi,

As Tom mentioned, the latest release of CCS is recommended.

I am not aware of any reported incompatibilities between TivaWare and CCSv9.0.1. Similar thing for TM4C TI-RTOS and CCSv9.0.1.

Just keep in mind that TI-RTOS is not used by the Tivaware example projects, but it has driver examples as well.

What changes I need to do in SDKs provided so that it should work as it was working with previous version of CCS.

Because I faced issues in compiling example project with current version.

Please share any document/link which makes things with new versions of CCS easier.
