Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I have this same exact issue. Same error messages, same hang at Eclipse. I am trying to install version 9.0.1 on a brand new Win 10 system.

Hello,
check this: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCSv7#CCS_installation_logs
Pleas provide the install logs.
Could you please delete the contents of the installation directory and try the install again?
Before you start an installation close web brosers and stop any other activities on you PC.
Hi Tim,
Your logs show that the installer is unable to access some files from the downloaded package. Either your download was corrupted, or more likely, you have run-time file scanning that's not allowing the installer to use the files. Could you please check to see if there's any run-time file scanning anti-virus software running on your machine?
Thanks,
Danish
Danish,
I haven't had any run-time file scanning running in the previous attempts. The system check prior to installation comes back clean every time. Just to be sure though, I completely uninstalled McAfee before attempting to install again, but I received the same error message. I have downloaded v9.0.1 twice and even attempted v8.3, all with the same error result. So, no AV running or file scanning and it would be strange to get three separate, corrupted downloads. Is there anything else I can try?
Thank you,
Tim

yes it is unlinkely. But just to confirm, did you use the checksum files for each image to verify your download?
