CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Programming a non-TI CC1310 board using the CC1310 LaunchPad External Debug Interface Issue

Hi,

I'm trying to use the CC1310 LaunchPad's external debugger header to program a CC1310 on another board but can't seem to manage a connection.

I've removed all the jumpers from the P4 header and set the VSENSE header to XDS110 Power. When trying to debug the module from ccs, I get the following error message:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -242 @ 0x0)
A router subpath could not be accessed.
The board configuration file is probably incorrect.
(Emulation package 8.1.0.00007)

Should I change some setting in the Target Configuration file? Note that using the same Target Config settings I'm successfully programming the CC1310 on-board the LaunchPad itself.

Hi,

It seems to be a HW connection problem or issues with the module itself. Please search for the error number in the page below for additional details about the error and some ways to isolate and repair it.

Also, make sure that the connections between the launchpad and the custom module are as short as possible, so you can avoid delays or cross talk.

Issue was with the squid cable connected between the debug headers, everything seems to be ok now and I can communicate with the module.
