CCS: CCS V7.4 Install Problem

Hello, after the CCS V7.4, and the sdk mmwave_sdk_03_01_01_02-Windows-x86-Install intsalled finished, when intalling the new installable products discovered ,the errir occured like this:

So I want to know the reasion and the way how to deal this.

  • How did you install SYS/BIOS - was it as part of the mmWave SDK installation or a separate download/install?

    If you deselect SYS/BIOS, are you able to get the other products to install properly? Could you try selecting them one at a time and see if all or at least some of the others install?

    If the other products install fine and SYS/BIOS is the only one that fails, you could try uninstalling SYS/BIOS (deleting the bios_6_73_01_01 will work fine) and reinstall it from this standalone download page.

  • SYS/BIOS is the part of the mmwave SDK;
    I deleted the SYS/BIOS ans download from the link as you offered and installed again, but the problem is still occured.
    I was used to install the CCS V7.3 and the mmwave sdk for AWR1642 and did not meet this problem.
  • That is very odd. Could you please try the following and post the latest errors/screenshots?

    - Restart your PC and then start up CCS
    - Go to Window Preferences->Code Composer Studio->Products and check which, if any, versions of SYS/BIOS appear under Installed Products. Capture a screenshot
    - If 6.73.01.01 is not installed, click Rediscover, select only that product and try to install. Capture screenshot of any errors.
  • It might also be worth trying it with a newer version of CCS, like 8.3 or 9.0.1.
  • I hope the previous suggestions were helpful in getting you past this issue. If you are still having trouble (even with the latest versions of CCS) and require further support, please feel free to post a reply with an update below.
