Hi,

I am developing embedded application using CCS v9.0.1 on TM4C1294NCPDT using TI-RTOS.

Recently I installed CCS v9.0.1.

I am getting some warning for generating hex file. I would like to know the reason for this warning and how can I resolve it ?

The default output of the hex utility is Tektronix format, and the default ROM width is 8-bits. With that in mind, please search the ARM assembly tools manual for the sub-chapter in the hex utility chapter titled Partitioning Data Into Output Files. The most likely solution is to add the option --romwidth=32.

Thanks for suggestion.

I did as suggested, and "warning: Data is being written to auto-generated file" is disappeared.

What about warning : "warning: section TestApp.out(.text) was padded by 2 to a size of 22028 to" satisfy the specified memory width of 4
