Dear Ti,

i am newbie for ti, now i using cc1350 launch pad and CCS v9. i have a problem in UART opening, for a example if i upload the example code like pwm led that is work fine, and if i upload uart echo example that is uploaded successfully but if i open my port through Hercules serial communication software that is return uart opening error, and also i am facing same problem in energia also.

Note: today i was open the ccs after the long time, and update the software v8 to v9.

Hello Natesh,

If I understand you question correctly, you are having trouble in getting the "uartecho" example to print data on a serial terminal window (Hercules serial communication). Is this correct?

If so verify the UART settings you are setting in your terminal window. Please refer the "README.html" file in the example folder for the right settings.

thanks for under stand my problem, the settings are same i was never change any settings from my serial monitor and ccs and one thing i was installed ccs v9 at yesterday, before that i am using ccs v8.

Hello Kannan,

I am not aware of any changes to CCS that would case the type of issue that you are reporting. Can you install CCS v8.3 and try the example and let us know if it works?

Hello Sai,

yes now i am degrade my CCS version from V9 after that i was update the software with help of this link
software-dl.ti.com/.../ccs_tirex_update.html.
now that's work fine
