CCS/AWR1843: how to add the fifth profiles in the mss_mrr_cli.c

In the project lab0007_medium_range_radar, there is two profiles used to configure the BSS. And I want to have five different bandwidth, but 1843 only support 4 different bandwidth at most in static configure mode.

how can I do that the 1843 can run in five different bandwidth.

Hi,
AWR1843 device supports only 4 different profiles, so you can't select more than 4.
And these four profiles you can assign to each or a group of chirps using chirpConfig API and then further assign these chirps to different frame/advanced-frames.
Please refer this document for programming chirp parameters' info.

Does AWR1843 has a Dynamic configuration？

In the AWR1xxx Radar Interface Control Document , there is a Sub blocks AWR_RF_DYNAMIC_CONF_SET_MSG in chapter 4.

In chapter 10, there are two API rlSetDynChirpCfg () and rlSetDynChirpEn ().

Can I use these API configure more than 4 bandwidth in AWR1843 ?

Hi,
Please follow this link where profile update on the go is explained. By this way, you can change the existing profile and indirectly have more than four profiles.

If you haven't already then I would suggest you check the advanced frame configuration (rlSetAdvFrameConfig) which provides much more options to configure the device.
