Value lost in "Copy Selected Expression(s)"

Hi All,

I would like to ask about a problem in CCS.

In the watch window CCS allows the user to "Copy Selected Expression(s)", for example, if I have an int array of 100 elements, this copied information could be pasted to notepad or Excel for further analysis.

But the problem is that blocks of elements could get lost during the copy. Take the 100-element array for example, sometimes only 90, or even 30 of them got pasted and other values were lost. This behavior is not that deterministic: sometimes all get pasted without lost, sometimes a small portion get lost, sometimes a large portion get lost.

 

 

 

What is wrong here and is there a fix? My version is CCS 4.1.2.00027.

    Zheng,

    I can't seem to duplicate this issue with either CCS 4.1.3 or 4.2.0. I was able to copy and paste over 90 items from the watch window without problems. I doubt that this could be related to the version of CCS, but it wouldn't hurt to update to the latest 4.2 version anyway. Unfortunately we may not be able to do much until the issue can be recreated at our end.

    Thanks for checking it. I will try upgrade to 4.2 to see if this still happens.

    Although I tried the same operation using CCSv5.4, the problem was recreated.
    Is it a bug?
