CCS/OMAP-L138: Missing product family on macOS

Hello,

I am trying to install CCSv9.0.1 on my Mac, which supports the C674x family, according to the release notes for the Mac version. However, when selecting the product family, C6000 (or OMAP, TMS320… etc.) doesn't show up. Am I missing something? Thanks!

    The macOS version of CCS only supports our MCU familes of devices and not our processors or DSPs.

    The release notes point to the system requirements section of the users guide which has more information on the device, OS version and debug probe support:

    There is a component section in the release notes that lists a bunch of processors components.  I think that may be what is causing the confusion.  Is this what you are seeing:

    I will file a defect to get that component list updated.

    Yes, that's the one. If it is unsupported, I was wondering why you can download the complier from http://www.ti.com/tool/download/C6000-CGT-8-1? That being said, it won't show up when installed.

    The C6000 compiler is available on Mac and allows you to setup your own build environment outside of CCS.
