CCS/66AK2H06: Is it possible the release mode can show c code and the assembly code together in CCS7?

Hi all,

I want to build the code in the release mode.

Is it possible CCS7 can show c code and assembly code together?

I mean if i l look some parts of c code, CCS7 can also show the corresponding assembly code immediately.

Hello,
It is possible in the Disassembly view. They key thing for this to work will is that debug symbols have been generated and optimization is at a minimum. "Release" configurations tend to have some optimization enabled, which is why sometimes C/ASM mixed mode view does not work as well. Optimization levels can be changed in the project build properties.

I still don't know how to set it up in project build properties.
