CCS/TMS320F28388D: Issue with available emulators CCS shown for device in windows vs Linux

hi,

I pulled in the latest device support for C2000 v5.0.0.0 as an "update" into CCS 9.0.1 to get the F28388D device as an option.

When run on CCS installed in linux and MAC OS Only XDS100 and XDS110 emulators seem to show up when the TMS320F28388D is selected. 

But the device does not show up for the XDS2xx debug probe.

This seems to be different from the behavior on windows which shows all emulators.

I don't suspect the device ccs base today since the base content would be consistent across all OS.

Could this be something with the emulator driver?

What could be the issue ?
