CCS/TMS320F28379D: Scope of access to GPIOs for the two cores in TMS320F28379D

Hello,

Please find the below image.There are two different codes in two cores of TMS320F28379D, where InitGpio() function is defined in both the codes. Now when i check, it is given as this function only restricted to one of the core. Does it mean i cannot access GPIOs from both of the cores? Or is it only the InitGpio() function?
