CCS/TMS320F280049: inability to recognize emulator

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello team,

one of my customers is trying to test the TMS320F280049 for one of their project. He is currently trying to implement the examples embedded, that is the LED blink and driving a motor.

He is having issues in recognizing emulator in the list of devices that can be opened in the debug phase. Namely the BH-USB-2000 and CCS 8.3.

Could you please point out a documentation or a workaround that could help in this case?

Please let me know if you need more info.

Thanks in advance for the support!

Best regards,

Adrian

  • Note that Blackhawk drivers are not installed by default. Did the customer explicitly enable Blackhawk support when installing CCS 8.3? If not, they can re-run the installer over the existing installation to add additional components missed during the original installation
