Hi,

The first step is to understand what data is being sent.

If you are running the Object Data Over CAN lab, then the data format is described in the mmWave SDK 2.0 demo documentation.

First step is to identify the magic number which marks the beginning of a new frame data.

How to find mmWave SDK 2.0 demo documentation?

I mean that the D1 or D2 information is all used?If we only want to get its distance and speed information, how should we extract which?

Hi ,

Please refer to the documentation of the MMWAVE-SDK 2.0 ($mmwave_sdk_02_01_00_04\packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\mmw\docs\doxygen\html). This provides the details of the code. For the CAN messages please refer to the code in mss_main.c and "mmwDemo_can_message_type" defines the messages used to transmit the data over CAN.

Can the data received by the identifier D1 be directly calculated for distance and velocity information? Is D1 the information of all the targets that can be detected or the maximum target that is detected by CFAR?

Yes the data can be directly used for x, y data and then the velocity information.
