i have just upgraded to code composer v9.  I am using an msp-fet also for the first time. After i compile my program and try to load the program into the Msp-fet i get an error of"an internal error occurred during "launching elite_300.com/ti/dvt/energytrace/af/poweractivity.. I am using a msp430f6736a.  I am compiling in with tiv18.12.1.lts elf format.  I have been using on a different pc ccs 6 and using msp-fet430uif.  I have no problem debugging my program. I am a little concerned on using the mspfet430uif on ccs v9 for fear that the mspfet will be reprogrammed and will not work again on ccs 6.  I have noticed this error has occured of energytrace as occurred on the  internet but i have yet found away of solving the error in my case.  any help into this matter will be very appreciated as i would like to be able to work with ccs v9 in the future.
